Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys and inspections of vessels and marine equipment in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Perform audits in compliance with regulations and standards, and review related documentation.
• Ensure that survey and inspection reports/certificates meet objectives and are completed within deadlines.
• Physically climb ship ladders onboard and offboard to perform surveys in anchorage.
• Attend scheduled training sessions and meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as a qualified class and statutory surveyor, seafaring experience, or as a Technical Superintendent.
• Proficiency in English commensurate with the scope of classification, statutory certification, and related services, with a demonstrated ability to perform future work assignments.
