JCI-Seaborne (S) Pte Ltd is a firm specialising in providing professional maritime surveying, investigation and consultancy services to reputable Maritime Insurers, Ship Owners/Charterers and Cargo Owners.We are looking for a suitable candidate to join us a Trainee Marine Surveyor.Primary ResponsibilitiesTo conduct a variety of shipboard surveys and/or investigations relating to maritime vessels, maritime operations and cargo.Key Attributes Good Communication Skills Strong Analytical and Research Skills Sound knowledge on maritime vessels, nautical operations and international maritime conventions Confident in drafting comprehensive and professional reportMinimum Requirements: Passes in 'O' Levels English, Mathematics and Sciences (Preferably Chemistry and Physics) or similar standard; & Bachelor Degree in Naval Architecture or tertiary qualifications in Nautical Studies*Seagoing experience, if any, is advantegous.Considerations for prospective candidates: This role involves mobilising on urgent notice, attendances at shipboard/marine terminals/shipyards, working on weekends/public holidays and/or operating beyond office hours.Please note that only those who possess the above minimum requirements will be shortlisted.
