Department Description Welcome to the IT Infrastructure department, Global Technology Services (GTS).. IT infrastructure is one of the major stakes for the bank and is at the heart of Societe Generale group's strategy.

Today, the Digital Transformation raises important challenges around IT Architecture, Infrastructure and Security. Many of these challenges are opportunities to imagine new experiences for our clients and new way to deliver IT services.

Within the Resources and Innovation division, GTS department plays a key role in the Digital Transformation. With more than 3500 GTS staff located across the world, GTS develops innovative projects while delivering operational excellence for infrastructure services to 148,000 employees and 32 million external clients.

At GTS Asia, we are one of the pioneers in agile practice.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, support and administer Market Data and PreTrade Middleware infrastructures to provide reliable and cost effective middleware services for the bank in Asia Pacific region.

• Ensure Market Data and PreTrade Middleware services being offered are in line with business requirement in conjunction with global standard and practice.

• Follow, propose and implement the necessary technical evolutions to the Market Data and PreTrade Middleware infrastructures maintaining a stable production environment at optimal cost.

• Capacity planning to ensure the various components in the IT infrastructure are capable to effectively support the business activities at optimal cost.

• Interface with service providers, business functions and IT functions regarding middleware services and solutions.

• Provide documentation for “Follow-the-Sun” support, as well as knowledge sharing across our team globally.
  

Profile:

• Holds a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information System or similar

• 3-5 years experience in the banking industry

• Good communication skills

• Good knowledge of Market Data content and services (Reuters, Bloomberg)

• Good knowledge of Market Data desktops solutions (EIKON, Bloomberg, FXT, EBS)

• Sound knowledge of middleware content and services (Tibco RV, IUM)

• Sound knowledge of monitoring platform (ITRS)

• Sound network knowledge (routing, TCP/IP, UDP, multicast)

• Sound technical knowledge on Unix/Linux

• Knowledge of programming language would be a bonus (Python)

• Experienced with Agile frameworks, feature teams organizations (scrum, product ownership...)

• Able to work with a remote team, to drive local/regional projects and support, including China and India
