Job Description

Job Purpose: The candidate will function as a Market Data Services and IPC Support Specialist, responsible for engaging and collaborating with Internal IT infrastructure and application support teams to establish and continuously improve and optimize market data usage and IPC systems used in the organization.

:

• Manage Market Data Services and Support for IT infrastructural environment, working closely with Market Data vendors in providing operational support and enhancements to the Market Data systems.
• Manage IPC trader and recording system by providing operational support and enhancements where feasible
• Engage and collaborate with Internal IT infrastructure and application support teams to establish, continuously improve, and optimize Market Data usage and IPC systems support.
• Responsible for managing day to day IT infrastructure support specific to market data services and IPC systems , as well as mentor and guide infrastructure support teams to provide Market Data desktop support to Treasury and related businesses
• Subject matter expert in the delivery and usage of real time Market Data and IPC systems to Application Support and end users.

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent, preferably with an ITIL certification as well as FIA (Financial Information Associate) certification.

• At least five years working experience, preferably within a Banking / Financial Institution environment, managing and providing Market Data Infrastructure Services and IPC systems Support.
• Working knowledge in setup and support of Bloomberg Sock5 Bluecoat proxies, Refinitiv Thomson Reuters Enterprise platform (TREP), Dealing and Transactional systems, as well as Market Data desktop products like Eikon and OpenBloomberg, and Refinitiv TREP DACS permissioning system and DAD processes, Exchange contracts and Audit processes, as well as MDS billing and invoice processing
• Strong technical skill with a thorough understanding of Computer Networking technologies, Windows10 Operating Systems and Unix Operating System.
• Excellent analytical skills combined with an ability to resolve major incidents independently as well as working with and leading teams.
• Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills, highly organized and able to interact professionally and appropriately at all levels of the organization
• Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
• Have the drive to work on BAU areas, and the will to challenge the status quo
• Have a quality mindset with prevention attitude to attain zero defects.
