Roles & Responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities This role is part of the Advocacy and Communications department at Breast Cancer Foundation and will report to the Head of Advocacy and Communications. As part of this department, you will support the organisation on integrated marketing communications and content strategies to advocate and enhance breast cancer awareness. You will also support the organisation in building and strengthening corporate partnerships and media relations.
You will have the opportunity to understand how advocacy and communications work in a charity or social service agency. You will also be able to contribute your marketing and design skillsets towards the mission and vision of BCF. Your role includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

• Work closely with team in managing the social media calendar and monitor the social media listening tools to identify trends and public feedback.

• Support the team in generating concepts and contents for daily social media handles and tags for SEO and SEM.
• Assist in the design & production of graphic materials and creative/ video content for the website, social media platforms as well as any special events and publications for the organisation.
• Work with the team in providing copywriting for both online & offline marketing materials.

• Help research for new platform/ partners for marketing and advocacy opportunities.

• Coordinate with colleagues to provide inter-department communications support
• Support in any other support duties as assigned by the Management

Technical Competencies

• An eye for design and details with proficiency in the use of design software (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.);
• Proficiency in Google Analytics and video editing skills will be a plus;
• Basic HTML knowledge for website management and will be preferred.

Core Competencies

• Good copywriting, journalistic and communications skills;
• Knowledge in Social Media, SEO, SEM and content marketing;
• Creative and Analytical skills;
• Skilled in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
