WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT?

The key objective of this position is to drive the company\'s business objectives by delivering successful execution of Trade Marketing plans through close collaboration with various key stakeholders.This position will mainly support the Trade Marketing Manager to plan, define and execute retailer (General Trade only) trade marketing initiatives (such as trade events, trade communication strategies & digital trade campaigns). For a holistic view of the business, the successful candidate will also be helping to support the other marketing functions (e.g. Portfolio and Strategic Insights) in terms of excution.The successful candidate will have a chance to manage various programs and projects, gaining a broad experience within the Marketing function and a chance to build a strong foundation in the Trade Marketing function.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Support the deployment of overall trade marketing strategy to continuously drive business objectives as well as reinforce JTI\'s status as the preferred business partner. Scope includes:
  • Development of annual holistic strategies in collaboration with agency partners
  • Development of strategy and creative briefs for agency partners and internal education
  • Launch of all trade communication materials to trade.
  • Support the launch of key Trade Marketing initiatives (via agency liaison, initiatives ideation, leading the faciliation of all project, execution touchpoints and budget management).
  • Initiatives include (but not limited to):
  • Trade events
  • Festive celebrations
  • Targeted trade engagement initiatives (\'Retailer Segmentation\')
  • Any other relevant and/or ad hoc Trade Marketing initiatives
  • Support the content development of digital trade platforms to drive internal & trade communication on product, company, and industry information.
  • Support Marketing team to execute Marketing projects where relevant in areas of Portfolio (e.g. new product launches) and Strategic Insights.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Minimum: University Degree
  • Candidates with at least 3~5 years of marketing experience in an FMCG operating environment in Singapore.
  • Candidates with prior experience in B2B marketing and events management is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin. The ability to converse in dialect is an added advantage.
  • Experience in project management, planning and execution of trade marketing initiatives.
  • Understanding of marketing and sales data analysis is necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
