At its core, SickieNow allows users to complete a simple health assessment online and receive a medical certificate rapidly and conveniently, without the need to visit a clinic or sit in waiting rooms. Through a user-friendly digital platform, patients submit their details and symptoms, and then licensed, AHPRA-registered healthcare professionals review the information (often including telehealth consultations if needed) and issue medical certificates that meet workplace and study requirements. These certificates are especially useful for sick leave, carers' leave, and other situations where proof of incapacity is required.

SickieNow is seeking an independent Marketing & Business Development Associate professional to lead both B2C growth and B2B partnerships globally. This is a remote, performance-based role designed for individuals who thrive in autonomy, growth environments, and commission-driven incentives.


You will be responsible for building brand awareness, driving customer acquisition, and securing recurring B2B partnerships with organisations that require fast, compliant digital medical certification solutions.


This role suits someone entrepreneurial, commercially sharp, and comfortable operating across marketing, sales, partnerships, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing (B2C & Brand Growth)

Design and execute B2C marketing strategies to drive user acquisition and revenue growth. Manage digital marketing channels including social media, content, partnerships, and growth campaigns. Identify and test new growth channels, referral strategies, and conversion funnels. Represent SickieNow online with a strong, credible, and active professional presence.

Business Development (B2B)

Identify, approach, and onboard B2B partners (e.g. employers, agencies, platforms, institutions). Negotiate partnership structures that generate recurring revenue. Maintain and grow relationships with existing B2B partners. Ensure at least one (1) active paying B2B partner per quarter is secured and maintained.

Strategy & Reporting

Track leads, conversions, partnerships, and revenue performance. Provide regular updates on pipeline, performance, and growth opportunities. Collaborate with leadership on pricing, positioning, and expansion strategy.

Performance Expectations

Maintain an active commercial profile representing SickieNow. Secure a minimum of one active paying B2B partner per quarter. Consistently drive measurable B2C customer growth. Operate independently with minimal supervision.

Compensation & Incentives


This role is commission-driven with strong upside:

Up to 20% commission on all B2C revenue generated per purchase. Up to 25% commission on B2B recurring revenue per paying cycle. Annual company bonus: eligibility for up to 5% profit-share per annum, subject to company performance and individual contribution.
