Job Description

Alliance Francaise de Singapour is a non-profit educational and cultural organization whose mission is to promote French language and culture in Singapore. As part of the global network of Alliances Francaises, it is one of the most active in Asia, offering a wide range of French language courses for all ages, and organizing diverse cultural events including exhibitions, film screenings, and festivals. Beyond teaching, Alliance Francaise serves as a cultural bridge between France and Singapore, fostering dialogue, community engagement, and the celebration of French art de vivre.




Reporting directly to the Marketing & Communication Manager, the

Marketing & Business Development Executive

plays a key role in strengthening the visibility, relevance, and growth of Alliance Francaise de Singapour's offerings. The position is centered on market analysis, customer retention and customer acquisition, as well as fostering strategic external partnerships, with a strong emphasis on targeting diverse communities in Singapore and assist the management team on making data-driven decision.


Key Responsibilities



1. Strategic Digital Marketing



Together with the Marketing and Communications Manager for digital marketing strategies, including SEM (Search Engine Marketing), SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Email Marketing and marketing campaign to target diverse communities for increasing brand awareness to bring traffic to our website and social media platforms. Support the tracking and analysis of digital marketing metrics to optimize performance and improve engagement. Work closely with communication assistants on creating marketing content (brochures, emails, website content) to highlight courses and events.

2. Market Research for Product Development



Conduct regular surveys such as customer satisfaction to gain market insight to better understand audience preferences. Monitor and analyze competitor offerings and identify opportunities for differentiation. Suggest new services, workshops, or program formats based on data insights. Database enrichment such as customer image and school contact update.

3. Partnerships for Membership program & PR



Maintain and source sponsorship for Alliance Francaise's members as benefits, and regularly renew contracts. Together with the Marketing and Communication Manager, as a contact window to foster good relationships with journalists.

4. Marketing events execution & goodies



Work closely with the Language Center to attend marketing events for promoting Alliance Francaise (internally such as Trial class, French Thursday, Open day. Externally such as exhibitions, fairs with neighboring communities). In charge of goodies preparation for welcome kits and events. Plan for marketing budget and track the spending regularly. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to Management through regular progress updates and results tracking.

5. Customer Acquisition & Engagement



Work closely with Director of Studies to identify and engage new sales leads, targeting companies, schools, and diverse community groups with the focus to enhance the performance of Language Center related products. Initiate and nurture relationships with corporate partners to promote French classes. * Develop and implement age-specific recruitment strategies (toddlers, kids, teens, adults).
