Job Description


REPORTS TO: Director of Advancement JOB GOAL: A valuable member of the Marketing and Communications Team, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Director of Advancement in marketing the school to prospective audiences and maintaining the communications ecosystem for the school community. This role requires competency in key areas: project management, copywriting and communications, and creative design (graphic, photography, or videography).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Management

  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders throughout project and event life cycles within the school
  • Organize and manage multiple projects at any one time with poise and professionalism
  • Manage vendor relationships and keep on task with projects or communications deliverables
Communications
  • Responsible for copywriting on various internal and external communications (both physical and digital collateral) using appropriate voice, grammar, and design style
  • Effectively tell stories through written and visual content in all marketing channels, such as social media and the school blog
Creative Design
  • Create graphic design materials, as needed, that are aligned with brand guidelines
  • Take photographs for use in marketing collateral and social media throughout the school year (may require off-site or out-of-school hours)
  • Video skills are a plus, but not required
Marketing Strategy
  • Work closely with the Director of Advancement to identify growth opportunities for the school
  • Work closely with Admissions to achieve company objectives and hit admission targets
  • Conduct market research to support ongoing marketing initiatives
  • Assist in the execution of digital marketing strategies, including developing paid and earned media
  • Report back on key metrics and optimize processes that support overall marketing strategy
Minimum Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Previous experience or training in marketing-related disciplines preferred
  • ICS will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require sponsorship of a visa.

The position involves a 5-day work week with annual leave entitlement, on top of school closures for 4 weeks (2 weeks off for winter break, 2 weeks off for summer break) each year.
