We are looking for a passionate marketer and a team leader to take on the role of Marketing Director for GROUPE SEB Singapore. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of defining overall brand strategy/ roadmap and lead the overall implementation of marketing strategies with the support of team and agency partners. Beyond just driving brand and business growth, as part of the local management team this role would play a crucial part in overall strategy and direction of the local market company. As a people manager, you would also have the opportunity and responsibility to coach, groom and develop people. Job Title: Marketing Director, Groupe SEB Singapore Pte. Ltd. Hierarchy: Head of the Department, part of the local management team Role reports to: Solid line reporting to Country Manager Singapore and dotted line reporting to VP Marketing APAC. The Profile Experience: At least 10 years in-depth understanding, knowledge and practical experience in consumer marketing and brand building in Consumer Durables/ FMCG companies. Customer management, Trade Marketing, exposure in managing umbrella brands is an added advantage. Professional Competencies: Brand Strategy and positioning, Marketing mix management, Digital Marketing and digital media campaign basics, Social Media Strategies Advertising/Communication development, Media Planning, Shopper Marketing, Marketing Activation, Competitive Market Analysis, Channel management, consumer insights/ need gap analysis, ability to work with tight budgets, strong management of agency partners Soft skills: Agile to change, Solution oriented, Team player, Strong Storytelling, Influencing Skills, Organized, ability to set priorities and delegate, Empathetic leader, Leads by example, Acts as a coach/guide, Pursuing improvement, Consumer and customer focused, Open to experiment and take smart risks Other: Should possess a degree and be proficient in English - verbal and written Key responsibilities and expected proficiency level: 1. Creation of Winning Consumer Marketing Strategies (Excel) 2. Understanding of digital marketing and media management (Excel) 3. Development of Innovative & Creative Marketing Plans (Excel) 4. Marketing mix management (Excel) 5. Ability to work with a challenger brand (Proficient) 6. Evaluate and manage execution of Consumer based Marketing plans (Proficient) 7. Business acumen - Understanding of category and channel dynamics (Proficient) 8. Cross functional working and influencing ability (Proficient) 9. Team management and development (Proficient) 10. Trends Understanding, Monitoring, and identifying need gaps/ opportunities (Basic)
