The Marketing & Events Executive plays an important role in ensuring the visibility of Heart Media Group and successful executions of both internal and external activations. As a champion of Heart Media Group, the successful candidate must be capable of aligning the Company's services and objectives with clients' requirements to ensure campaign successes. To truly succeed, the candidate must, firstly, be equipped with working knowledge of social media and digital marketing, and secondly, exhibit suitable understanding of the retail and advertising industry. Last but not least, they must be able to multitask without compromising the quality of work.
Marketing Responsibilities:
Plan and implement, together with the editorial and creative teams, winning social media strategies and campaigns across digital platforms to achieve digital tractions
Own the metrics for social media reach and engagement
Track and analyze social media metrics to provide insights and recommendations on best practices
Create strategies to increase databases and readership acquisition for the respective titles
Be aware of new trends and best practices in social and digital media
Work with our vendors for the distribution and circulation of our magazines in a timely manner
Event Responsibilities:
Prepare impactful proposals and presentations that showcase innovative ideas with clear executions to achieve the desired objectives for both internal and external activities
Assist in the end-to-end execution of event projects, which includes but not restricted to, client and supplier liaison, budgeting, timeline management, resource allocation, digital activations and meeting of key performance indicators
Ensure event success to facilitate repeat businesses
Negotiate with all the company's event suppliers to maximise profitability
Provide insightful post-campaign reports to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement
Support the development and implementation of new event strategies and activities to increase reader engagement and offer best-in-class experiences
Identify relevant industry event partnerships to increase visibility and brand recall of Heart Media Group, and ensure such partnerships are well collaborated
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in an advertising, media or events agency, with relevant experience in event management, development and execution of creative event concepts and themes
Adequate understanding of the luxury and retail businesses and possess the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute campaigns and event experiences
Detailed-oriented with a strong sense of urgency, and possess excellent communication and time management skills
Highly motivated and resourceful
Able to work after office hours as and when the need arises
