As we prepare for our opening @ Q4 2025 / Q1 2026, we seek a
Marketing Executive
to drive brand awareness and engagement, ensuring our hotel's distinct identity shines in the competitive hospitality landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with Marriott International's standards while showcasing Varel Singapore's unique brand identity.
Lead pre-opening marketing initiatives, ensuring a strong brand presence before launch.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create compelling campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.
Manage content creation, social media engagement, and public relations efforts to enhance visibility.
Analyze market trends and competitor positioning to refine marketing strategies.
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or Mass Communications preferred, with experience in a 4-5 star hotel, preferably in a pre-opening environment.
Strong understanding of Marriott International standards and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to brand and operational guidelines.
Proven ability to manage large-scale hotel operations (250-300 rooms, multiple F&B outlets), demonstrating strategic thinking and adaptability in a dynamic hospitality setting.
Creative thinker, able to develop innovative marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and guest engagement.
Exceptional communication skills, fostering collaboration across diverse teams, including internal departments, vendors, and external partners.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent writing and presentation skills, with a portfolio showcasing successful campaigns, content development, and brand storytelling.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and experience in content creation, social asset design, and video editing to enhance digital marketing initiatives.
Familiarity with social media platforms, with an ability to track trends, optimize algorithms, and engage audiences effectively.
Professional and brand-conscious, representing the hotel positively in interactions with media, guests, management, suppliers, and staff while driving brand positioning strategies
