Job Description

Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS) is seeking a Marketing Executive who will support the team in building a community and movement for corporate sustainability, through smart and crisp marketing, communication and branding activities.

The ideal candidate will showcase strong organisation skills and social-media savvyness. This role is open to someone who is passionate to learn more about corporate sustainability in Singapore and the region.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and design thought leadership articles, newsletters, EDMs and campaign collaterals to advocate responsible business practices

• Initiate, manage and execute GCNS content Social Media and customer facing communication calendar. This includes but is not exhaustive to managing GCNS' Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages, and craft social media content

• Assist with managing and updating content on GCNS’ website(s)

• Supporting engagement with business community, including interview GCNS members to produce marketing content (e.g. members stories, testimonials) Liaise with vendor on marketing collaterals and other marketing 3rd parties commissions, where required

• When relevant, track and report on marketing campaign success and suggest potential improvements.

• Set up together with the marketing manager clear marketing processes Assist with any other administrative and ad hoc duties as required
  

Requirements

• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mass Communications or related disciplines, with at least 1 year hands-on experience/exposure in marketing, corporate communications and/or advertising

• Organised, goal-oriented and with a mature disposition to take ownership of projects and targets assigned

• Strong communicator (written and verbal); comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders

• Some working knowledge and experience using design softwares (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) and video editing softwares (e.g. Final Cut, iMovie, Powtoon) will be advantageous

• Some working knowledge of Wordpress (Pro, Elementor), Google Adwords and experience in copywriting will be advantageous

• Possess initiative to look for alternative solutions and help out the team whenever needed

• Research capabilities for report writing, data collection and analysis

• Willingness to learn and self-develop

• Able to work within a small team dynamic

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint required
