Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Coordination of major promotional activities and special projects
• Establish and manage budgets and key expenses
• Servicing key accounts and managing key deliverable
• Effectively manage key relationships with various business partners and stakeholders
• Prepare business proposals and reports required by Management and clients
• Liaise with various internal and external parties to ensure smooth execution of events and related activities
• Oversee the production of marketing collaterals with Manager and General Manager
• Effectively manage the team to ensure that deadlines are met
• Maintain information services and keep current with marketing trends, innovations, communication techniques and any media regulations that may impact the Hospitality and/or the Food & Beverage industry
• Take on any other responsibility as assigned by the Management
• Conducts post-event evaluation (including data entry and analysis and producing reports for event stakeholders)

Relationship Management

• Establish and maintain effective working partnerships with all relevant internal and external colleagues and associates.
• Reports to: Events Head and General Manager
• Internal Contacts: Writers and Designers, Information Technology department, Accounts department and Management team
• A recognized Diploma in Hospitality/ Tourism Management/ Marketing/ Communication/ Business/ Events & MICE is required
• 2 to 3 years related experience in the Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Events Management industry is essential
• Dynamic team member
• Has a proven track record of managing successful events, locally and/or regionally
• Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates initiative, has an eye for detail and an efficient team player
• Ability to work under pressure, short deadlines and extra hours if needed on assignments
• Proficient in MS Office
