The Singapore Productivity Centre (SGPC) is a one-stop competency centre set up under the aegis of the Future Economy Council and the appointed National Productivity Organisation (NPO) representing Singapore to the Asian Productivity Organisation.

The mission of SGPC is to drive Enterprise Productivity for sustained growth and competitiveness. It focuses on the service industries, mainly the Lifestyle cluster (Food Services, Retail and Hotel sectors).

SGPC, together with its network of Governmental bodies and Institutional Partners, provides a comprehensive range of services and solutions to equip enterprises for excellence. Besides helping SMEs upgrade and enhance productivity, we build their capabilities to innovate, transform and ultimately, globalize. With the formation of SGPC, companies in the retail, food services and hotel sectors can now approach a single agency for expert productivity assistance.



What Intern will be experiencing during the engagement period:

• Brainstorming ideas on new content and campaign to drive engagement;
• Assist in creating, writing and editing of marketing materials (e.g. social media posts, website updates, programme write-ups, webinar descriptions, eDMs, video scripts)
• Work closely with internal departments as well as partner organisations in monitoring accuracy of materials and ensuring accurate representation of SGPC brand messaging across channels
• Source and liaise with new and existing third-party vendors (website, events, video production etc)
• Managing external vendors to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of content delivery
• Enlarging databases from publicly available sources and potentially cold calling
• Performing general administrative duties such as organisation of files, documentation, and other coordination duties

What we are looking for from the Intern:

• 3 - 6 months availability
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong sense of business ownership and a capacity to take initiatives
• Basic photo, video and graphics editing skills will be preferred
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate course for Business Administration or a similar field
