PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The purpose of this internship is to provide a university student with practical exposure to marketing operations in a structured corporate environment. The role supports the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives, including digital content preparation, campaign coordination, and event support. The intern will gain hands-on experience while contributing meaningfully to the team's ongoing projects, with clear learning outcomes, regular mentorship, and alignment with the school's internship programme requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and monitor social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), schedule posts, and engage users

  • Create visual assets: Prepare simple graphics and adapt templates (e.g., Canva/PowerPoint); resize/export files to the correct specs for web, social, and eDM.
  • Support events & campaigns: Assist with logistics (bookings, vendor coordination, packing materials), handle on-site support when needed, and help with post-event wrap-ups.
  • Conduct research: Do basic market and competitor research; summarise findings into short briefs with links/screenshots to inform planning.
  • Manage content calendars: Help maintain the publishing schedule, draft short captions, collect approvals, and schedule posts using native tools.
  • Maintain documentation: Keep campaign trackers, folders, and file names organised; ensure the latest versions are saved and accessible to the team.
  • Assist reporting: Pull basic performance metrics from platform dashboards; compile weekly snapshot decks and note simple takeaways.
  • Contact list hygiene: Update and tidy contact lists for campaigns/newsletters, ensuring accuracy and opt-in records (PDPA-aware handling).
  • General admin support: Take simple meeting notes, raise purchase requests, track small expenses, and manage inventory for brochures/merch.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
  • Real-world application of marketing tools and social channels
  • Portfolio development under mentorship (weekly check-ins, feedback sessions)
  • Grading participation and performance coordinated with institutional liaison officer
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Enrolled in a University programme in Marketing, Business, Communications or similar from a local polytechnic.
  • Basic social media familiarity; creative mindset with attention to detail
  • Reliable, collaborative, and eager to learn.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Internship is open to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents currently enrolled in a local based university.
The successful candidate will receive a monthly internship allowance in line with institutional standards.
A structured onboarding, supervision, and evaluation process will be provided throughout the internship, including regular check-ins and end-of-term feedback.
Bonus development opportunity: Spend one week in Madrid collaborating with our Corporate Marketing team.
Internship will be based in Singapore at our local support office; hybrid work arrangements may be considered depending on operational needs.
