The Marketing Leader, Global Beauty is responsible for defining and shaping short term and long term strategies and go-to-market solutions that will enable our Beauty business to grow in a highly competitive category. The scope of work is global, with a focus on Asia. This role will have 1 direct report.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Consumer Insights - Understand the Beauty consumer (across different life stages) in terms of lifestyle, psychographics, attitudinally and spending habits to truly create a holistic marketing plan to Beauty seekers.
  • Strategy Development - Drive Category strategy globally with a focus on Asia:
  • Manage Product Portfolio (across internal and external innovation) to drive flexibility and speed to market
  • Set adequate pricing strategy across full beauty portfolio
  • Build winning channel strategy to enable us to drive a sustainable beauty business (both current and new channels)
  • Establish global customer value proposition to differentiate against key competitors
  • Upstream Innovations - Shaping upstream innovations in strong collaboration with HQ and cross-functional leaders.
  • Downstream Innovations - Lead downstream innovations and develop plans for new product launches & key activities:
  • Size Opportunities and ensure every NPD is relevant to the category/retailer
  • Build Retailer activation planning to win wearer preference in highly competitive space
  • Lifecycle management to optimize portfolio productivity
  • Develop Claims roadmap to support both internal and external innovations
  • Wearer and Customer Experience - Build End to End Beauty Contact Lens wearer journey:
  • Drive digital marketing strategies, including social media campaigns and SEO
  • Develop Content Creation through best-in-class campaigns and any other brand related content
  • Safeguard the brand\'s image across all marketing initiatives and regions
  • Implement technology solutions to enhance the Beauty Contact Lens wearer experience
  • Commercial Impact - Influence markets to drive action towards operationalizing and implementing strategic choices with business model choices and shaping P&L in partnership with markets and finance teams.
  • Team Leadership - Lead and mentor a global marketing team, ensuring they have clear objectives, resources, and ongoing professional development opportunities
  • Stakeholder Management - Connect and shape with other functions (Global Strategic Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D...) to ensure global beauty strategy is aligned with overall business objectives
Qualifications
  • Minimum bachelor\'s degree required.
  • A master\'s degree or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years of strategic marketing experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of FMCG experience is preferred.
  • Global / Regional experience is preferred.
  • Experience in Channel/Retail Activation is preferred.
  • Holistic business thinking exposure with clear evidence of addressing business challenges and delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and senior management to impact decision-making is required.
  • Strong knowledge in strategic marketing planning, branding and product messaging for consumer, shopper and professional.
  • Strong data analysis skills, comfortable analyzing campaign results, working on financial models.
  • Ability to shape vision, strategy and execute with evidence/ fact based mindset to pivot plans with real time/ informed learnings
  • Commercial experience in Asia will be an added advantage
  • Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills, Agile mindset & strong analytical skills. to different cultures and markets.
  • Ability to work in matrix environment
  • This position requires up to 15% international travel.
