Encore Films was established in 2003 with the aim of bringing quality movies to the audience in the Southeast Asia region. We have released numerous blockbusters including the DEATH NOTE movie series, LA LA LAND, WEATHERING WITH YOU, SUZUME, JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4 and KNIVES OUT. Building upon our creditable track record, we have expanded our film distribution network from Singapore to Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam. We have been the exclusive distributor of Studio Ghibli\'s animation classics including MY NEIGHBOUR TOTORO, PONYO ON THE CLIFF BY THE SEA and THE WIND RISES for Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei. Encore Films is currently also one of the top distributors for Japanese and other Asian content in Southeast Asia.

At Encore Films, we are committed to the creation of original and refreshing content that both local and global audiences can relate to and enjoy. After 13 years in movie distribution, we released our first movie production YOUNG & FABULOUS in May 2016. and a second movie, FAT HOPE to be released in 2024.



The ideal candidate will be a proactive marketer with passion for movies, possess strong interpersonal, creative & organisational skills.

Responsibilities: * Plan, coordinate and execute marketing and publicity plans

• Manage marketing collaterals and communication
• Manage social media campaigns
• Prepare reports and proposals for potential partners / sponsors
• Handle media clippings and PR administrative duties
• Liaise with media on interviews and write ups
• Events management and co-ordination

Requirements: * Must have a passion for movies

• Has strong initiative, positive attitude and team oriented
• Able to work independently, multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills to liaise with English & Mandarin speaking business associates and clients
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Minimum Diploma in Marketing or related discipline
• At least some relevant experience and event management
