About the Position:
As a Marketing Rep, you will commence a developmental role and has the opportunity to learn the fundamentals and prepare you to take on assignments as a field rep / consultant independently. The position is based in the Singapore office, with expectations to travel up to 25-30% of the time based on business needs.
These assignments will be focused on:
Developing industry Marketing, Sales, Digital and District field knowledge as well as a strong understanding of the Caterpillar Dealer network and customers
Building on your current skill set to help prepare you as a field rep / functional consultant to develop dealers\' capabilities and future leadership positions within the organization.
As a future field representative / functional Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:
Develop industry marketing, sales, digital and district field knowledge as well as a strong understanding of the Caterpillar Dealer network
Lead and participate in strategic growth initiatives with District Manager and/or functional leaders to align with internal partners and dealers
Advise dealers on marketing, sales and customer-related strategies, systems and processes; including strategy development, governance and alignment between dealer and Caterpillar Enterprise Strategy
Consult with dealers on marketing and sales strategy planning including developing strategies and Capability and Capacity plans to improve dealer effectiveness and identifying gaps and potential opportunities for increasing sales. For example, existing and potential customer experience issues and improvement measures such as recommending ways to enhance sales coverage and customer experience through training, technology enabled and bundled solutions, etc.
Assist dealers in business planning and on effectiveness of meeting expected business results
Oversee and promote programs that increase sales while achieving targeted price realization and profit margins
As a dealer facing representative, you will collaborate with dealers to build capability, drive process improvement, and execute Marketing and Sales Operations related strategies. You will connect data to identify opportunities and develop solutions which support dealers in meeting customer needs.

Desired Skills and Experience:
A Bachelor\'s degree in Business Studies (Marketing or related field is preferred)
3-5 years of experience in Marketing / Sales / Digital Marketing/ Product support, or Market development is preferred
Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
Lean (improve efficiency and effectiveness by eliminating waste)
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and resilient to changes
