Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our AI Research and Development team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The AI Research and Development Intern will report to Marshs Head of Digital and will conduct deep research and analysis on how specific AI technologies can be integrated within the risk management value chain, creating technical solutions and proof of concepts.
We will count on you to:

• Conduct research and analysis on AI technologies, focusing on areas such as data extraction, generative AI, virtual assistants, and predictive analytics.
• Implement technical solutions (proof of concept/minimum viable product) for specific AI use cases, utilizing provided infrastructure and resources.
• Document the technical approach and considerations for scaling the implemented solutions.
• Educate Marsh teams on the AI R&D methodology and share learnings from the internship experience.

What you need to have:

• Strong foundation in data extraction technologies (RPA, OCR, NLP, computer vision), generative AI (Large Language Models), virtual assistants, or data science and ML algorithms (Python, R, other data science tools).
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, along with critical thinking abilities.
• A highly collaborative work style with the ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
