A Material Planner role in an Automotive located in the West of Singapore focusing on the Service Parts to plan the end-to-end supply of service market parts to meet the customer demands.

About the Material Planner Role:
The responsibilities of this position include determining material specifications, creating and maintaining inventory schedules, coordinating with internal departments, and managing external stakeholder relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily production planning, reviewing statuses, and providing necessary updates
• Review daily material shortages and expedite buyers to meet demand, minimizing disruptions
• Review Material Requirements Planning (MRP) execution to ensure data accuracy
• Reconcile supply and demand to maintain accurate production schedules
• Plan scheduled order to ensure accurate and timely information on delivery schedule
• Follow up on overdue orders and liaise with suppliers on urgent request
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, and distributors
• Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations

To succeed in the Material Planner should be able to ensure the appropriate supply of cost-efficient and high-quality materials required to maintain steady production and product delivery

Key Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Logistics, Business or related
• At least 3 years of working experience within the automotive industry
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills particularly when dealing with supplier and customers
• Possess the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
• Excellent internal and external customer service
