We are looking for a committed

Mathematics Teacher (Cambridge A Level)

to complement our qualified team of educators.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a complete teaching plan according to the school's requirements. It is essential to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills.

Specifically:

Prepare and conduct lessons according to the course syllabus and scheme of work. Deliver lessons and provide supervision to students as a mentor or form teacher. Manage classroom activities and maintain discipline. Prepare and mark examination papers and assignments. Monitor students' performance and progress and provide academic counselling when needed. Teach students according to their aptitude through differentiated instruction. Identify and address students' academic and pastoral needs in collaboration with parents and the academic team. Attend team meetings and staff development workshops. Support school holistic and co-curricular activities as assigned. Oversee and advise assigned non-academic or co-curricular activities. Guide students to achieve the proficiency required for university admission. Contribute to curriculum development, appraisal systems, and project management. Perform other related tasks as assigned on an ad-hoc basis. Meet assigned key performance indicator (KPI) targets.

You should be passionate about teaching and able to build trust and connection with students. You should know how to organize a class effectively and make learning an engaging and meaningful process. Your goal is to cultivate students' interest in education and support their overall learning and development.

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Knowledge of Further Mathematics is preferred. Professional teaching qualifications are preferred. Demonstrated ability to teach learners with varying proficiency levels. Familiarity with international standardized tests such as IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL is an advantage. Ability to inspire students' interest in learning and build strong rapport. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, logical thinker, and team player.

Pay: $3,700.00 - $5,500.00 per month
