Job Description




Responsibilities

Conduct risk assessments in accordance to Environmental Management System (EMS) standards and practices.
Conduct risk assessments in accordance to regulatory and organisational Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and practices.
Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOP) and emergency response procedures (ERP) established for the critical environments, as well as the site formal change control processes.
Participates in the maintenance of all significant planned and emergency maintenance events for the facility and ensure these activities are executed in controlled and proven method to ensure the reliability of the critical processes supported by these systems.
Coordination and integration aspects of electrical and mechanical systems, operations, and maintenance for critical and non-critical electrical and mechanical system.
Validate all maintenance work carried out by the contractors and ensure compliance to the prescribed standards.
Perform routine facilities activities including inventory control (service maintenance part related). Critical system check and functional testing. Able to respond and take action in response to facilities crisis management activities including: Power outages, fire alarms, ACMV failures
Analyse environmental sustainability performance data from the Facility Management System (FMS) to identify opportunities for improving sustainability.
Analyse data and identify trends with facility and utilities issues to determine root cause and take appropriate action.
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to improve time, cost and quality management.
Coordinate movements of building assets.
Supervise routine maintenance services of third-party service providers.
Communicate with relevant personnel for timely actions in response to user requests and feedback.
Review documentation on procedures and schedules of custodial services.
Collaborate with the Quality and Production departments to ensure overall compliance of manufacturing processes with required Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs).
Oversee day-to-day operations of CGMP utility equipment and systems.
Ensure compliance with Environmental Sustainability regulatory and organisational requirements.

Requirements

Possess at least Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
More than 5 years in a Bio-Lifescience environment, candidate with MNC, Large Organizations or GMP experience will have an advantage.
Working understanding of Lab/GMP Operations, QC, QA, Process Development, Supply Chain and related functions.
Involvement in setting up New Site and/or Project Management will be an added advantage.
Applicant with knowledge in supply management and vendor management will have an advantage.
Position and Title will be accorded per work and/or industry experience of the candidate.
Self-starter, self-motivated - effective in being individual contributor and team player with other Functions.
Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
Able to interpret control schematic and perform trouble shooting and hands on for minor repair.
Hands on experience of facility, utilities system (gases system/water system/ACMV/AHU/FCU/HVAC) and laboratory equipment/system maintenance will be preferred.
