Role and Reponsibilities Cleans, cuts, weighs, packages and labels meat as required Prepares all types of meat cuts, sausages a cured meats to spec (training will be provided) Maintains a clean, organized and sanitary station according to Ministry of Health standards Works with Operations Manager to plan future days production and stock ordering Performs other duties as required or assigned by Senior Management Considers and suggest on ways to improve the kitchen processes Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years kitchen experience working with meat is preferred Prior butchery experience is preferred Physically able to stand for long hours and carry heavy goods Able to handle non-halal foods Able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management Comfortable and experienced to work with knives, hand tools and utensils Job & Benefits 5.5 days a week (Mon - Sat) Opportunity for Profit Share after 1 year employment Paid overtime Discounted in-store produce Regular food and drink purchased for the team
