Job Description
Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer (1/2 year contract) (ID4293) Location: Paya Lebar Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8.00am-5.30pm Salary: $2500-$3300 Key Job Accountabilities:
- To generate mechanical and system designs that are required for the project
- To ensure modification designs are compliant with requirement from relevant aviation authorities
- To perform simple analysis to substantiate designs
- To interact closely with engineers from other disciplines to achieve an optimized design within the stipulated project schedule
- To deliver presentations to the customers and aviation authorities on modification designs as required
- To support aircraft prototyping and production activities
- Good Masters / Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
- Experience with CAD software. Knowledge of CATIA, for 3D modeling and 2D drawings will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Words/ Excel/ Power point
- Practical experience in supporting airframe modification projects will be added advantage
- Experience on composite structures will be an added advantage
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- Must be a self-motivated team player who is able to work independently
- Monday to Friday
