Roles & Responsibilities
& Requirements
\xc2\xb7 Incremental development of existing modules to increase reliability, reduce costs and ease manufacturing, assembly and maintenance.
\xc2\xb7 Investigate engineering change requests and implement design changes.
\xc2\xb7 Mind safety and international machine product standards.
\xc2\xb7 Abide design to cost principles in any aspects
\xc2\xb7 Create 3D modules and BOM\xc2\xb4s incl. 2D drawings following the clients standards and design rules.
\xc2\xb7 Work closely with other disciplines (electronics/software) to meet project objectives
\xc2\xb7 Ensure fast response to production issues
Education
BSc degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics engineering
Work experience
At least 3-5 years relevant experience in automation / equipment industries.
Significant practical experience in mechanical engineering, assembly and testing.
Expertise and methodology
Proficiency in CAD software ProEngineer/Creo.
Experience with PDM/PLM software (PTC Windchill or eMatrix) is a pre.
Understanding of cost drivers within manufacturing and across the supply chain
Good knowledge of mechanical parts evaluation and qualification
Understanding of assembly procedures of complex mechatronic systems
