Job Description

Responsibilities- Responsible for the development of high-quality mechanical and mechatronic modules and systems.- Deliver a high quality technical deign that meets the specific specs within the specified time frame and budget.- Set up concepts, draw up specifications, calculations and test specifications.- Manage project in estimating and maintaining effort hour budget, manpower requirements and project schedules.- Create multi-level BOM structures, review material localization and lead value engineering activities.- Propose alternative for End of Live (EOL) parts to customer.Manage Engineering Change Notification (ECN): analyse change impact, liaise with respective departments on impact.- Any other tasks as assigned.Requirements- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Physics) or equivalent.- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in mechanical or mechatronics design.- Knowledge of development methods, production techniques and discipline-specific technologies (eg. CAD software, FEM calculations)- Willingness to perform hands-on activities on machines.- Good communication skills with a pragmatic and flexible attitude.- Ability to adapt to dynamic work schedules and willing to travel on short notice.- Knowledge of precision mechanics and construction principles strongly preferred.- Knowledge of optical/opto-mechanical system and Machine Vision Detection system preferred.- Knowledge of topics like Regulations (CE, UL, SEMI) and Machine Safety (IEC 12100, 13849, 60204) preferred.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
