Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for Mechanical Design, Evaluation, Testing and Documentation of products. Customization of existing products. Work closely with Production Team to transfer product into production. Manage External Consultants and Fabrication Vendors to achieve the products goals.Skills & Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering. Good engineering fundamentals. Experience in opto-mechanical and mechanical positioning design. Experience in design of high-value, customer driven products. In-depth knowledge of 3D CAD software SolidWorks/SolidEdge - demonstrable skills in creating complex models, assemblies and drawings. Proven ability and willingness to take ownership of projects and get the job done with minimal supervision. Proven ability to track and resolve issues. Self-motivated and can work well with a team. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
