Roles & Responsibilities
& Responsibilities:
- Under direct supervision, develops complex component engineering drawings using company and industry standards and codes from equipment specifications and detailed drawings.
- Creates proper part CAD models and product structures in PDM systems.
- Proficient in construction of layouts or assembly drawings comprised of various components and sub-assemblies in assigned product line, utilizing working knowledge of inspection techniques, machining, materials, components, and their applications.
- Aware of tolerance requirements for proper function of equipment and realise impact of poor drafting quality in design documentation.
- Checks drawings of other design personnel for completeness and accuracy as required.
- Completion of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
- Requires minimum 2 years of drafting experience in Solid Works.
