Job description Use computer-aided design software to create 2D technical drawings from 3D files Handle assignments under minimal supervision and tight schedule Participate in project meetings and conference calls with customers Discuss with customer on: - dimensions, tolerances and material requirements- critical/functional area- assembly and inspection methods- purchased parts with specific brands or models- assembly drawing and BOM lists- revision to technical drafts based on the discussion Work with customers regarding accuracy, drafting standards and documentation Review drawings for completeness and accuracy Prepare engineering documents for submission to customers Maintain all revisions of project drawings, update and maintain drafting log Assist and provide all information to Sales team for quotation submission to customers Provide timely technical assistance and solutions to Production teamJob specification Minimum Diploma or Degree in drafting, Engineering or relevant field Minimum 3 years working experience in 2D & 3D drawing development with AutoCAD software Experience with SolidWorks or Unigraphics Attentive to details Problem solver Ability to work in fast paced environment
