Mechanical Engineer (Systems) | Life Sciences | Perm | From $4,300

What actions would you take if there is an opportunity to work in a Global Life Sciences MNC dedicated to provide cutting-edge analytical measurement solutions? Today, they are looking for an engineering professional with strong Mechanical Engineering skills and experience in the R&D Product Development process.

Responsibilities:

• Design components and sub-assemblies to support the development of new or legacy improvement products.
• Design with DFM, material availability and interchangeability, assembly ease and cost in mind.
• Gather design requirements in the early stages of development with stakeholders internally and across geographies.
• Work with cross-functional teams outside of R&D for design development and changes.
• Process ECOs and practice organized design revision control using a PDM tool (SAP).
• Conduct design reviews with key stakeholders to progress designs forward.
• Comply with all workplace safety regulations, company policies and procedures. Ensure work meets company quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals
• Experienced with industry drafting standards and GD&T in design consideration
• Product development experience from concept stage to mass production
• Knowledge and experience in manufacturing methods with various materials
• Strong presentation and communication skills
