Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Manage the consultant and contractor during the design, construction, and commissioning phase to deliver the agreed quality, costs, and schedule of the projects.

\xc2\xb7 Drive the concept design, basic design, detailed design phases and a +/- 10% budget of approved projects together with the users of define the project scope.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure completed projects and documents/drawings are properly handed over to Process Engineering for commissioning, to Validation department for IQ, OQ, and PQ, or to the users and Technical Services. Ensure project close out process is completed.

\xc2\xb7 Propose and evaluate modifications to equipment, processes, and operations to improve safety, increase efficiency and enhance Project /company goals.

\xc2\xb7 Supervise outside contractors to develop and implement Capital projects and plant

modification.

\xc2\xb7 Experienced working with change control (i.e., track wise), permit to work, drawing management, documentation etc for day-to-day activities.

\xc2\xb7 Submit Project Progress Report (PPR) monthly progress report on Engineering and commissioning phases.

\xc2\xb7 Serve as overall Design coordinator on Merlion (large CAPEX) project in terms of Mechanical (mainly HVAC, Piping and Fire Protection system).

\xc2\xb7 Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in engineering disciplines (such as HVAC, Mechanical, Piping and Fire Protection) for other engineers to consult and guide the Consultant team.

\xc2\xb7 Any other duties as assigned by your Supervisor/Manager.

Requirement

\xc2\xb7 Min. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical engineering discipline

\xc2\xb7 Prior experience in the large biopharmaceutical Project as a Mechanical lead (leading independently HVAC, Piping and Fire Protection design to construction stage).

\xc2\xb7 Good understanding in HVAC, Piping and Fire Protection system design and operation and relevant statuary Code of Practices along with ASME codes (like ASME BPE and B31.3).

\xc2\xb7 Strong problem-solving ability, troubleshooting and analytical skills

\xc2\xb7 Strong written and oral communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Experience in 3D design reviews (like Navisworks)
