Our Client:

Our client is experiencing a rapid expansion and focuses on Engineering Construction, Telecommunications, and Investments. The Project team is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join them as a Mechanical Project Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for driving both ongoing and new projects within the company.

The Responsibilities:

• Coordinate site preparation and submission document preparation
• Manage and liaise with various project stakeholders, including customers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and others on-site to ensure project requirements are met
• Effective communication with all stakeholders
• Create detailed work schedules, plan manpower and allocate resources
• Interpret engineering drawings and perform basic engineering calculations and designs
• Oversee the safety management system on-site
• Monitor and report on project progress
• Familiarity with Singapore standards and Codes of Practice
• Handle any other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the reporting manager
• To be able to commit to work at various locations across Singapore

The Requirements:

• Possess a relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
• For experienced candidates, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the Construction or Industrial Engineering industry is preferred
• Candidates with no prior working experience are also welcome
• Experience in design related to ACMV, piping, piping structural support, and ducting
• Experience in construction projects for manufacturing plants, Data Centre fit-out works, etc.
• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and be target-oriented in a fast-paced environment
• Effective interaction with project team members and managers at all levels
• Candidates with relevant Project Management Supervisory experience may be considered for roles such as Senior Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Manager
