We are looking for a Mechanical Field Supervisor to join our Maintenance team in Neste Singapore.

We have a team of experts working in Maintenance. Our team is responsible for providing supervision of contractors consisting of Mechanical and/or Ad-hoc.. We are also responsible for helping the organization achieve maintenance excellence/reliability improvements by providing direction and supervision for the execution of tasks.

In your role, you will assign the following responsibilities:

MAINTENANCE EXECUTION
\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure all aspects of Safety, Environmental, Quality and Cost are being met
\xe2\x97\x8f Accountable for execution of all maintenance work in accordance with the local Authorities requirement, Industry and Neste rules and regulations.
\xe2\x97\x8f Ensures Neste and Contract Resources are available for scheduled jobs and special services. Manage, coach, and facilitate a team to execute maintenance activities. Discuss jobs daily.
\xe2\x97\x8f Jointly discusses new job priority with Maintenance Area Lead and Planners.
\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for performing frontline troubleshooting of equipment.
\xe2\x97\x8f Shall attend the daily co-ordination meetings.
\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for crossed discipline coordination to complete the principle maintenance task.
\xe2\x97\x8f Participate actively in Neste HSSEQ programs to achieve own, contractors, and functional HSSEQ targets.
\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible to deliver assigned Turnaround, Project maintenance activities.
\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure compliance to the MOC, PHA, and PSSR process.
\xe2\x97\x8f Understanding, supporting and applying Neste recommended practices for best in class results.
\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for ensuring compliance with technical assurance and maintenance procedures.
\xe2\x97\x8f Setting a safety culture to ensure a personal and continuous care around the safety of anyone at site.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for working closely with team members and solicits input from all team members on opportunities for improvement.
\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible to constantly look for opportunities to improve cost effectiveness.
\xe2\x97\x8f Provides feedback from execution work to the Maintenance Area Lead to improve preventative maintenance plans, optimize productivity, and drive reliability.
\xe2\x97\x8f Cooperates with reliability to continuously improve equipment and operational reliability and sustainable work flow processes and systems in a safe and cost effective manner

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure the indirect reports team members have the proper skills to manage and execute the work they are assigned, work with the technical disciplines and competency development and assurance to develop training plans to supplement weak areas, improve techniques/skills and introduce new equipment.
\xe2\x97\x8f Provide feedback for assessing each indirect reports team member to provide assurance on competency.
\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for managing, coaches and motivates the indirect reports maintenance execution team, provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates work assignments considering personal skills and development needs.
\xe2\x97\x8f Manage contractor productivity, hourly performance evaluations.

OTHERS
\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure all documentation is maintained, history is being captured, and any feedback is effectively being utilized. Be prepared for audits of this documentation.
\xe2\x97\x8f Contribute to the development of work procedures.
\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for the development and implementation of maintenance effectiveness programs and the tracking of these programs. Looks for opportunities to eliminate low value work and replace it with vital work.
\xe2\x97\x8f Works with Asset Management team and/or assist to eliminate bad actors by repair, replacement, or re-engineering. Much of this will be to recognize repeat issues and understand the root cause of issues. To use Root Cause analysis, whether it be for everyday troubleshooting.
\xe2\x97\x8f Contributes to the material management strategy setup and update.

The best combination of experiences, skills and background is

\xe2\x97\x8f Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
\xe2\x97\x8f At least 3 years relevant experience in refinery and petrochemical Prior Experience in Projects and TAs execution
\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledgeable with international standards, petroleum /petrochemical plant materials and equipment will be an added advantage
\xe2\x97\x8f Experienced in maintenance work control, planning and basic reliability methodologies
\xe2\x97\x8f Good communication with thinking, negotiation and business sense
\xe2\x97\x8f Good coordination skills and the ability to work in cross-functional, multiple disciplines environment
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to prioritize through close coordination and collaborations with HSEQ, Operations, Technical and others
