JOB DESCRIPTION

• Carry out Preventive Maintenance (PM) as stated in the PM Master Schedule timely and according to WI/ checklist. The works includes but not limited to pump/ equipment check & maintain, troubleshooting, repair and replacement of parts/ equipment etc.
• Perform checks, maintenance, refurbishment & monitoring of centrifugal pump/ diaphragm metering pump/ compressors running condition periodically and maintain records.
• Carry out rectification works as per issued Job Request order, in a timely and safe manner.
• Perform necessary Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO) and isolation of process prior to carrying out the works, in accordance to Permit to Work system and LOTO procedures.
• Assist and guide external contractors in carrying out their regular/ ad-hoc maintenance contracts, ensuring these external contractors adhere to the plant\xe2\x80\x99s HSE safety, operations procedure & quality of works done.
• Receive and conduct QC check on incoming spare parts/ consumable delivery.
• Practice prudent inventory management, optimize cost effectiveness and plant availability.
• Perform regular/ ad-hoc cleaning of the equipment strainers.
• Carry out leak repairs of MF, RO membrane, pressure vessels and troubleshooting of out of specifications membranes.
• Carry out ABS/ PVC/ CPVC pipe leak repairs and replacement work. Technician shall possess the basics knowledge of pipe measurement & cutting, grinding, applying primer and solvent cement to fit-up and installation. Able to do PVC welding.
• Assist plant during urgent/shutdown works, even beyond normal hours.
• Any tasks or jobs assigned by Management.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Higher NITEC / NITEC in Mechanical or other engineering-related field with at least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in water treatment. Candidates with similar or relevant work experience will also be considered.
• Knowledge in other pipe materials will be added advantage
• Other safety certifications will be added advantage.
• Possess the knowledge and safety certification for work at height, lifting, overhead crane operation, forklift operator preferred.
• Positive attitude and a good team-player
• Normal working hours: 8am-530pm (Mon-Fri)
• Willing to work at Ulu Pandan
• Transport pick-up/drop off at Jurong East
