Conceptualise and design unmanned mechatronic systems through a process of architecting, component selection, integration and configuration of unmanned sensors, network and compute devices from product specifications or project requirements.
Adopt a product-centric systems approach to design and engineering of unmanned systems
Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the development process.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and systems engineers, to integrate components and sub-systems effectively within the overall system, considering factors such as compatibility, functionality, maintainability, and performance.
Develop test plans and procedures to validate and verify system performance
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and drawings to effectively communicate design details and recommendations to stakeholders.
Perform hands-on fitting, assembly, installation and testing of mechatronic components on site., including repair and maintenance.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles.
Good technical, creativity in problem-solving skills and strong reasoning ability.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
Proficient in 3D engineering design and simulation software such as SolidWorks, SolidEdge, ProE, and Catia, Rapidharness etc.
Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to mechanical engineering.
Proficient with software development tools (visual studio) and languages (C++) will be a plus
Prior design experience related to unmanned systems will be a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
