Description
:
- Perform specimen reception and order entry.
- Perform Quality Control on laboratory analysers under the supervision of a Medical Technologist.
- Perform routine patient testing under the supervision of a Medical Technologist.
- Ensure the laboratory meets the expected turn-around-time.
- Perform maintenance on laboratory analysers
- Ensure the work area remains clean and tidy after use. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strictly adhere to all laboratory safety policies.
- Assist Medical Technologist/Senior Medical Technologist/Principal Medical Technologist in maintaining the inventory according to lean practices.
- Assist Medical Technologist/Senior Medical Technologist/Principal Medical Technologist in preparing the laboratory for audits.
- Be involved in the Laboratory Quality Management Program and Quality Improvement initiatives
- Diploma in Biomedical Science or similar equivalent
