About the Department: Delivery Services
Meltwater\xe2\x80\x99s Delivery Services team is responsible for curating bespoke reports and managing key projects of our biggest clients. We deliver business-essential intelligence reports based on our keen analyses of various media outlets across traditional and social media channels.

Role: Media Analyst (Part-Time, weekend basis) \xe2\x80\x93 Chinese language proficiency
What You\'ll Do:
Monitor and identify media coverage and conversations on key topics of interest across all mainstream and social media platforms for our client on a 24/7 cycle
Translate and summarise media content to deliver regular media reports as well as alerts to inform the client of any impending developments or crises arising in media coverage
Conduct both quantitative and qualitative media data analysis, with the intention of understanding the extent of media volume during significant developments and providing sentiment analysis of said reports and mentions
Ensure the accuracy, comprehensive coverage, and timely delivery of daily reports on the client\xe2\x80\x99s media footprint
Execute projects to create value and efficiencies for the client and the project/operations team
Work cohesively with your team to ensure all deliverables and tasks are completed accurately and to tight deadlines.
Utilise our Meltwater proprietary software and Google Workspace to cover end-to-end process of extracting raw data, uncovering insights, and delivering factual, digestible reports to clients
Who You Are:
Professional proficiency in English and Chinese language with a strong proficiency in Chinese language (for translations into English)
Able to work weekends only, on 3 different shifts (3.30am - 12.30pm, 8.30am - 5.30pm, 3.30pm - 12.30am)
Attained Bachelor\'s Degree (in any discipline)
Entry level / have up to 1 - 2 years of work experience
Ability to work in high pressure situations with tight deadlines
Keen interest in current affairs, mainstream media, and social media
Derive great enjoyment being in a client servicing role with a naturally strong customer focus
Able to think critically \xe2\x80\x93 look at numbers, trends, and data and search for explanations for outcomes
Meticulous \xe2\x80\x93 have an eye for detail and ability to exercise vigilance in analysis
Nice to Haves:
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Studio is a plus
Experience in a client facing role is a plus
Other Information:
Monday to Friday: 1PM - 1AM - $15/hour, 4AM to 1PM - $20/hour
Saturday to Sunday: 1PM - 1AM - 20$/hour, 4AM to 1PM - 25$/hour
