The Opportunity

The Planning Director reports into the Client Lead and is responsible for base communications planning, eco-systems, activation tactics and guidance that translate client briefs into creative media solutions for a fun, fast moving, and creative Entertainment client across SEA markets.

  • Support the Head of Comms Design across the client\'s business but focusing on communications planning and buying
  • Become a true client partner and understand their business intrinsically
  • Control overall media budget for your key clients across multiple channels and markets
  • Design best in class media campaigns that deliver results
  • Taking global strategy and planning frameworks into localized communications planning recommendations
  • Working with key markets to surface relevant data, insights, trends and partnerships for the client aggregating this for clients in a comprehensible, actionable manner
  • Building consumer, category and brand insights from available data points
  • Taking the eco-system into media plan recommendations with partners, tactics and investment guidance
  • Identify opportunities for new and existing products and initiatives across client portfolio\'s, campaign approaches and local market skill sets continually looking to integrate new ways of thinking and develop out of scope opportunities
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Vast industry experience with both online and offline media experience
  • Deep understanding of digital partners including Tik Tok, Facebook and Google
  • Understands through past experience of planning and buying digital platforms such as: programmatic, social, affiliates and PPC, data partners and tech providers
  • Analytical ability to understand the impact of research and measurement and how to use this to inform planning
  • Has an excellent ability to interpret data from multiple sources (e.g. across markets) to inform connections planning
  • Ability to build innovative media ideas and activations
  • High level of digital media planning and execution experience
  • Relationship driven; clients, internal, media and agency partners
  • Experience in training regional and local market planners, nurturing and growing the existing planning talent and championing best in class media solutions
  • Experience in local and regional market planning experience will be an advantage
