Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide safe and accurate medication dispensing and comprehensive medication education/counselling to patients and caregivers
- Perform medication reviews and interventions to prevent and/or resolve drug-related problems with appropriate therapeutic recommendations to enable safe and cost-effective medication therapy
- Perform clinical assessment of patients/customers with minor ailments and provide Pharmacy-only medications and/or General Sales List with appropriate education and advice
- Participate in the clinical education of trainees, and healthcare professionals
- Participate in research and quality improvement activities
- Senior Pharmacist position will be expected to assist in the management of pharmacy technicians/assistants in outpatient pharmacy team, as well as to lead in research and/or quality improvement initiatives
- Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- Registered Pharmacist with Singapore Pharmacy Council
- Newly-registered pharmacists are welcome to apply for PH01 Pharmacist position
- Candidate with relevant clinical practice experiences and clinical competency level will be accorded Senior Pharmacist position
