Tech Observer Asia Pacific is an end-to-end contract research organisation with offices in India, Europe and the USA. Our medical communications team is looking for a medical communications analyst to join them.





Tech Observer's medical communications team in Singapore is made up of like-minded individuals who enjoy telling stories of science and medicine. The team works with clients in Singapore, Asia Pacific, Europe and North America from pharmaceutical, medical devices and biotechnology settings to produce high quality scientific materials. This productive and successful team works on projects from a wide range of therapeutic area including oncology, cardiovascular, endocrinology, aesthetics, consumer health, and digital health.

The position

The Medical Communications Analyst will support our medical communications department in Singapore. This role is crucial in facilitating the growth and success of the business development pipeline.

Roles and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

Research and analysis

conducts desk research and analysis to support business development and project delivery, including scoping, feasibility, and literature searches. develops and executes search strategies, employs various research tools and sources, and presents information effectively. curates, develop and communicate relevant research findings through spreadsheets, verbal communication, reports/slide presentations etc. supports in conceptualizing research required based on context/needs, and developing appropriate database search strategies, keywords, search strings, data extraction spreadsheet headers, etc. to facilitate effective and systematic research employs different research tools, search engines (e.g. PubMed), and information sources (e.g. peer-reviewed literature, press releases etc.) according to the specific needs and purposes of research supports in research, scoping/alignment, conceptualization, publication outlines, preparation of kick-off call or client alignment meeting decks through the early stage of projects to subsequent narrative restructuring/problem-solving steps

Account expansion and strategic business development

staying informed about client needs and industry trends, deepening relationships with existing clients, and developing new client relationships. supports the development of marketing materials and activities.

Required skills, experience and qualifications:

Bsc level or above in a scientific or Business discipline
