About the role:

To organize and co-ordinate Medical Education events in APAC educational events and administrative support.

The role will require extensive interaction with APAC surgeons, international surgeon faculty and key education leaders. The role reports to the Senior Manager Medical Education and Digital Transformation, APAC, the responsibility will be to deliver medical education events for all franchises in Asia Pacific and as such will require proactive communication with the whole APAC Med Ed Clusters, APAC Regional marketing team as well as the Developing Markets team.

The Medical Education Specialist, APAC will play a key role in developing and delivering educational initiatives that support the organization\'s mission to improve patient outcomes through education. Responsibilities:

Plan and organize medical education events:

Implementation of medical education programs across APAC

Management & implementation of professional education programs across APAC including cadaver and sawbones workshops, symposiums & insights events and activities

Coordinate and implement International VSP program (Visiting Surgeon Program) including processing of all relevant documentation to medical boards & hospital authorities to gain access to the operating theatre

Oversee surgeon engagement in relation to product training initiatives, including face-to-face and online forums

Identify content requirements for targeted audiences and execute on appropriate digital and social media channels

Data collection and management:

Lead & Manage APAC Meded Data and KPI Dashboard

Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and materials, and make recommendations for improvements

Digital Platform Management:

Lead & Manage S+N Academy Mobile Application & other digital platforms

Lead & Manage APAC Data Asset Management with latest toolkits, templates, flyers, brochures, and design and develop APAC SharePoint website.

Manage VR, Simulation trainings and associated analytics.

Manage Broadcasting studio time slots and coordinate with the AV team

Create and update educational resources working collaboratively with global digital team, such as online modules, e-learning courses, presentations, and reference materials, using multimedia and interactive techniques.

Any other duties involved within the role and/or the tasks as assigned from time to time

Ensure compliance with regulations:

Proactively build & retain knowledge & expertise on S&N compliance policies and documentation requirements ensuring all are met in relation to each professional education event

Lead & manage Royal College of Surgeons required documentation for SN Academy

Requirements:

Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., medical education, healthcare administration, life sciences)

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical education or a related field.

Proven success as an event planner or coordinator.

Excellent track record in establishing solid business relationships with internal and external partners

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working with health care professionals and high-profile customers.

Experience of working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Must be flexible in approach and working style, functioning effectively with constantly changing agendas/timing of activities. Weekend, before & after hour (before 8am & after 5pm) availability required.
