Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares samples of specimen for examination-hematological, serological, clinical microscopy, blood chemistry and special chemistry procedure.
- Performs and analyze the results of tests on blood and body fluids.
- Performs machine calibration prior to running of lab test.
- Interpret results of lab examination accurately.
- Do counter checking of all lab result performed and released by co-med tech staff.
- Manage inventory of lab stocks and supplies and request for replenishment.
- Maintain an updated documents of lab procedures and other documents as required.
- Implements infection control measures in the Laboratory Department.
- Coordinates with Pathologist for abnormal lab results.
- Secure right encoding/recording of lab results.
- Maintains updated documents of lab procedures and other documents as required.
- Gathers customer feedback and report result.
- Keeps all equipments clean, calibrated and in good operating condition.
- Performs other tasks and duties as may be assigned by the management.
Flow of Responsibility:Reports to Laboratory Manager and Quality Assurance Officer/Chief Medical TechnologistCoordinates with Other Medical Technologists, Analysts, Technical Staff and SupportSupervises: Laboratory Technician

QUALIFICATION(S):Education:
- A BS in Medical Technologist Graduate in four (4) years course
- Licensed to practice in the Philippines
- With Leadership potentials and must be willing to handle responsibilities
