Knowledge of medical terminology and Audio Typing Typing speed of 45 wpm or more
Job requirement:
A recognized polytechnic diploma, GCE A / O / NItec qualifications. Previous experience in hospital or healthcare industry preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in audio typing will be beneficial. Proficiency in MS Office and word processing. Good command of written and spoken English. Transcribe medical imaging reports for radiologists. Operate word processing, dictation, and transcription equipment. To perform other duties assigned by the radiologists or clinic manager. Responsible for handling phone calls for radiologists. Responsible for preparing and sending of medical reports. Candidate without audio typing experience will be considered as audio typist trainee. 5.5 days work week (overnight duty is not required). Immediate availability is preferred. * No prior experience may be considered.
