Job Description
:
The incumbent is expected to:
- Facilitate communication between buyers and stores
- Highlight information disseminated by buyers
- Provide ground-up feedback from stores
- Follow store visit schedule set by merchandising head and perform key responsibilities:
- Highlight stocks with new stocks in WH
- Advise replacement SKUs for OOS items
- Replenish stocks following first-in-first-out (FIFO)
- Check for stocks that are expired/ expiring
- Ensure stock availability for SKUs on planogram/ dedicated bays
- Highlight potential issues based on observations in store:
- Work with CMs to activate promotions to clear at-risk stocks (high soh/ SSL)
- Perform random checks to check for any product quality issues
- Build rapport and support store managers/ team leaders:
- Set up for thematic promotions (country fairs/ promo campaigns/ festive/ plus sell)
- Set up of new/ reno stores across retail formats (super/ hyper/ finest)
- Secure secondary displays (international lane/ imports GE etc.)
- GCE \'A\' / \'O\' / \'N\' Level / NITEC
- Min. 3 years of FMCG merchandising experience
- Pro-active in highlighting issues related to roll-out of products/ promotions in store
- Independent
- Prompt and responsive to feedback by stores/ buyers
Work hours: Mon - Fri (8.30am-6pm)
Work location: FairPrice Hub (will be required to travel to stores)
