Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training.

As a Messaging Engineer, candidate will be part of team to implement and manage the Public Sector Environment for Messaging and Collaboration Services. You will work within a team of engineers with strong technical competency to conceptualize, implement and manage the Public Sector infrastructure services and ensure high levels of availability, performance and security posture of the environment.
Responsibilities
Solutioning, Architecting and Deploying Exchange, on-premise and Cloud-based solutions
Design and Implementing Exchange and Collaboration platforms - Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Azure AD, Skype, MS Teams and SharePoint Online, Microsoft Office 365
Migrate messaging environment to Exchange 2016 and Exchange online
Drive Critical Incident management / Escalation Management
Provide deep level support, change and problem management for Active Directory and Messaging / Collaboration technologies
Work closely with Customers and Gathering their requirements for infrastructure design, transforming requirement into solution deployment
Translate the customer needs into technical requirements in line with proposed solutions
Create Low/High-level design documents (LLD & HLD), Technical design document and Implementation guide
Manage and mentor a team of Infrastructure specialists comprising of Active Directory Specialists, Systems and Server Professionals
Participate in Knowledge Transfer for new Projects
Drive service improvement plans at the service line level
Requirements
10 years experience in the above domain areas
Diploma in a relevant field
Proven planning, implementation and migration experience from Exchange on premise to Microsoft Exchange Online
Knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures
Demonstrated experience in the following areas:
Lead discussion between internal teams and external product principals
Up-to-date with latest product roadmap and best practices
Define policies and procedures related to Messaging and Collaboration environment
Provide input to optimise and automate workflows and processes
Justify new initiatives and recommend new ones to stakeholders
Team player with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present and communicate effectively with non-technical audience
