Plan and monitor project schedules and material inventory to ensure timely completion and avoid rework.
Lead and manage a team of scaffolders, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Coordinate scaffolding work with other departments, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project integration.
Analyze the integrity of scaffolding and temporary work structures, proposing solutions to the engineering team for complex issues.
Safety & Compliance:
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture and all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) initiatives on site.
Ensure that all materials, tools, and equipment comply with relevant health, safety, and WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and safety audits, maintaining detailed records of conditions and any corrective actions taken.
Manage any incidents or safety breaches, documenting them thoroughly and implementing preventive measures.
Sales Development:
Assist the estimation department during the bidding phase of projects, providing expert input on resource and material requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a primary point of contact for scaffolding services.
Identify new business opportunities and support efforts to develop and expand the company's market presence.
Negotiate contracts and project terms with clients, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
Prepare reports detailing team performance, project status, and sales outcomes for management review.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in scaffolding operations and site supervision, with a strong background in construction safety.
Relevant certification: Must hold a valid Scaffolding Supervisor card/certificate (e.g., "Supervise Metal Scaffold Erection" course certificate) from an approved training provider.
Strong knowledge of WSH regulations, SS659 (Singapore Standard for Scaffolds), and other applicable legal requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with teams, clients, and management.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address on-site challenges and client needs.
Results-oriented mindset and the drive to achieve both operational and sales targets.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.
