II. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of an Asia PR plan and provide guidance to countries on local implementation
- Engage journalists and media to successfully secure media engagements and editorials.
- Work with external PR agency to establish positive publicity for embecta
- Own crisis communications when needed
- Responsible for media training of senior executives, and help build their executive profile on social media
- Prepare press materials for corporate events
- Lead corporate branding efforts as we transition from BD brand to embecta
- Develop social media and content strategy, to increase brand awareness and enhance community engagement, including content creation
III. Education
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field

V. Experience
- Minimum 8 years in PR, Communications, or Corporate Branding
VI. Required Knowledge and Skills
- Good understanding of Communications (internal, external, Public Relations) is required
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing effective media and communications strategies, preferably in a regional capacity
- Interest and experience managing social media in a professional capacity
- Excellent oral and written communication capabilities that have been leveraged with external customers, internal stakeholders and senior leadership
- Good writing skills
- Self-starter and independent
- Entrepreneur mind set: Positive thinking in opportunities, agile and intrinsic motivation and desire to drive change and trying new things, taking action with pragmatic approach
