Job Description

The RPM Department Finance & Planning Officer will be given opportunities to:

• Be involved in developing strategic initiatives and supporting the budgeting process for the department

• Coordinate department plans and budgets, and track operating expenses against approved budget
• Monitor and track department-wide initiatives against milestones and planned timelines

• Collaborate across departments, divisions and subsidiaries

• Be the initial RPM liaison officer for all Group Risk Divisional matters involving RPM
• Facilitate inter-divisional/departmental and other stakeholder requests

• Assist the Department Head in the smooth running of the department

• Manage 5 sections and more than 100 staff members
• Organize and implement department wide communication programs including department management meetings, department town-halls, etc
• Monitor RPM\'s staff training plans, compliance, audit and regulatory issues and completion status
• Coordinate submissions of internal regulatory attestations/reports
• Maintain RPM intranet site

• University degree
• Good oral and writing skills, interpersonal skills and organization ability
• High level of initiative and commitment to work independently and as part of a team
• Adept at monitoring and tracking of multiple outstanding matters
• Effective in liaising and following-up with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, i.e. Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint
