About the Department

UOB Group Investment Banking provides a complete range of investment banking services that includes corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions advisory, leveraged finance, debt capital markets and mezzanine finance. With offices in the region including Singapore and Hong Kong, the division works closely with other coverage and product partners within the UOB Group to provide holistic investment banking solutions to meet the diverse and cross-border needs of our customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to tasks in all phases of M&A transactions origination and execution, from research, idea generation, pitch book preparation, transaction structuring through to documentation and deal completion;
• Assist in managing buyside and sellside processes;
• Conduct valuation analysis, trading comparable and precedent transaction analysis;
• Conduct and coordinate due diligence workstreams with independent third parties;
• Build detailed financial models for valuation and benchmarking purposes as well as financial performance measurement.

Job Requirements

• You should have a good Bachelor Degree from a recognized university;
• Preferably with prior experience in M&A;
• Possess strong valuation analysis skills and proficient in financial modeling;
• Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure and tight deadlines;
• Meticulous in execution skills
• Team player with an inquisitive mind, good people skills, driven and independent;
